The Fell Running Association

The Fell Running Association is the governing body that looks after our interests and manages our sport in the UK. It was formed in 1970 and now has over 6,000 individual members from around 300 athletic clubs. It is affiliated to UK Athletics.

We encourage our members to join the FRA. It only costs £16 for seniors (family £24; under 23 £12.00; junior £8.00). Benefits include an Annual Handbook and Fixtures Calendar; The Fellrunning Magazine and English Championship events. Entry into club organised fell races is now cheaper for FRA members.
