Since starting in May 2011, Ambleside AC Juniors has attracted huge interest and now have approximately 60 members from the age of 7 to 18 years old. We train and race throughout the year on the fells and our aim is to deliver enjoyable training sessions to develop fitness, good running and training habits and to learn to have fun with running, which will hopefully last a lifetime.

TRAINING AS USUAL
If your child has a high temperature, new continuous cough, loss of taste or smell, they must not come. If they are feeling unwell I am relying on parents to make decisions that protect others in the club and the wider community!
Please arrive at Rothay park (we will be inside on the right not by the gate) ready for a prompt 5.30pm depart, maintain social distancing and children 12yrs + must have a face mask in their bumbag. All children as always must bring a bumbag containing a waterproof jacket, trousers, hat and gloves! Please get your child to sanitise their hands and register, this is our track and trace register, thank you.
Parents please collect your child from the park ensuring that their coach knows they have been collected.
Our training night is Thursday and during the light spring and summer months we train on Todd Crag/Loughrigg. From October half-term through to the end of November we change to Sunday training, so that we can stay on the fells. From January to the end of March we revert to Thursday night training using the Phoenix track at Windermere which is partially floodlit and good for reps, speed training etc.
