What a stunning performance from Ambleside youth runners in the Skyrunning World Champs in Andorra at the end of July. An amazing experience for all of them, competing with athletes from all over the world.
Charlie Allmond was a Gold Medal winner in the Youth A Vertical (3.5km, 1000m climb) and Rosie Woodhams won Bronze in the Youth B in the same event. Chloe Rylance won Bronze in the Youth B Sky Race (19km, 1,450m climb). Well done to the whole team; the medal winners plus Sophie Rylance, Rowan Ashworth, Betty Bergstrand, Ruairi Long, A credit to our fine club.
