Ambleside runners have been far and wide over the bank holiday weekend. Well done to everyone who competed. Here are some of the highlights:

Sarah McCormack: Winner of the Three Peaks Race with a seven minute margin.

Jack Wright: Winner of the Coniston Fell Race joining Ben Abdelnoor and James Harris in the winning men’s team. Lou Osborn and Hazel Robinson 1^st and 2^nd V40.

Ian Stephenson: Managed 42 miles of the mighty Fellsman. Hinting at trying again next year.

Bryony Halcrow and Tom Simpson: 2^nd and 3^rd respectively in the Stuc a’Chroin Hill Race.

Antonia Fan and Matt Elkington: 2^nd and 4^th in the Guisborough 3 Tops English Champs race with Antonia only 3 seconds behind the winner. Jon Deegan: 1^st V50. Ben Sharrock: 3^rd U23

Robert Short and Katie Percival: both winners of the Rothay Park run on Saturday.
