The event is entirely off road & the first time a duathlon has been held in this location. Whinlatter Forest is a fantastic area for trail running & mountain biking with an extensive network of trails in a mountain environment.

The run routes are a combination of well surfaced singletrack & forest trails & quite hilly! The mtb route is a good mix of technical singletrack & forest roads incorporating the new bike trails.
