Club Championship 2006
DATES & VENUES OF RACES
Geoff
Clayton
As some of
you will know Geoff Clayton, one of the original members
of the Club, suffered a major heart attack in
mid-February whilst at home. He was taken to Lancaster
Hospital and spent some days in the intensive care unit
followed by a period in a general ward.
He sadly
died last Thursday, never having regained
consciousness. Gwen was by his side at the time.
Many of us
visited Geoff during his time in hospital always hoping
for his recovery. Our thoughts go out to Gwen, Charlotte
and James.

having a bar meal in the White Lion (instead of just
drinks as usual).
