Great
North Run Charity Places
I have been asked if any of our members would be
interested in running the Great North Run for the
Bendrigg Trust. This is a local Lakeland Charity
which provides
adventure
holidays for disabled children and is entirely
reliant on dontions and fees.
Bendrigg would provide transport to and
from the
race, support, encouragement and race T shirt. They
would be looking for runners to obtain in the region
of £500 from sponsors. The race is on the 5th
October. If anyone is interested in running it and
supporting a local charity please contact Jo

Northern
Irish Championship Race
Anyone fancy the
Northern Irish Championship race on 5th April. I am
thinking of going and would love to fill the car and
make it cheaper! There is more info about the race
on the NIMRA site. I would probably set off at
lunchtime on Fri 4th and aim to return Sat evening
after the race.

will take place on 11 December. Meet at Rugby Club
at 6.30 pm.
An uphill only race, from the bottom of Kirkstone,
by the Golden Rule, to the top. 3 miles, 1300ft.
