This popular evening race follows an out and back course from Ambleside to the summit of Loughrigg, a total distance of 4 miles with 1000 feet of climbing.

The race starts in Millans Park (behind the church) in Ambleside at 7pm on Wednesday April 2nd _ GR 374044. Please park on the main car park in the village and walk to the start which is 5 minutes away. Entry on the night only.

The course follows the large track up to the final fell gate. It is then flagged to the summit where it returns by the same route. The records are 27.00 by Nick Sharp in 2007 and 32.00 by Natalie White in 2006. The cost will be £3 and the minimum age is 15.
