The new Lakeland Trails running and walking
series.

enter all four Trails, and

The trail courses are well marked and marshalled
journeys along footpaths and bridleways through some of
the most scenic countryside in the UK.
There is a non competitive Challenge setting off
first for faster walkers and slower runners; this is
closely followed by the Nordic Walking Challenge,
then a competitive Trail Race sets off an hour or
more afterwards, all three events following the same
course.
Junior fun Trails take place when most of the
competitors are back from the Trail. These short fun
runs are all about having a go. All the finishers are
rewarded with a specially engraved medal, and there are
winner's prizes and spot prizes too.
An exciting and fun atmosphere is guaranteed for
spectators and competitors alike. Live music with a race
commentary and other entertainments all make for a great
day out for all the family.
