Compared to
last year, a pretty uneventful running of the annual
club handicap - no cuts or bruises or blood...
A clear
bright night meant that even without torches the hill
ahead was all too clear to see, as were the road
markings ('1.5 miles', '2.5 miles', '3 miles' - left
from the Kirkstone Car Pull???).
The
handicapping wasn't perfect, but there were six runners
finishing within 70 seconds of each other which isn't
too bad.
Eric had
warned us that Phill was running well and a four and a
half minute handicap wasn't enough to deny him the Cup.
A well deserved win!
Paul could
have battled for the top spot but had added an extra
minute to his handicap before the start...
Well done to
all who took part and a huge Thank You to Helen for
helping out with the time keeping!
