Very impressive run from Adam. The runners were set off
at 10 second intervals so always had someone to chase or
to hunt you down. Adam moved from starting eighth into
first but also had about 30 years advantage on most of
us. (I never saw him again after saying GO.) So if any
of you fancy your chances, you might try and find the
Howgills next year (it's still in Cumbria) because I'm
sure he'll give you a good run for your money.
Thanks to everyone who made the effort and also to the
helpers: John Brockbank, Mike Taylor, Sue Clark, Diane
Walker and Adele Walford. (Almost had more helpers than
runners.) I am sure everyone enjoyed themselves.
