Vet men get together Sunday 10th December
If you are male, over 40, a member of AAC and your legs still work, on behalf of the proposed vets captain, I am calling on you to get out and race for the club next season!
On Sunday 10th December there will be run from the Three Shires where we can have food and drinks afterwards. As well as having a good time running on the fells, the idea is to get some sort of consensus from those keen to race next year about what we might target in terms of champs races/relays. Hopefully we will get the active vet runners from this year coming along, but also some new ones. This run and meal is certainly not only for the club’s faster runners – it is for any vet men in the club. Dan Dux has rallied the vets for the past few years and I know Stu Shutt is psyched to get a good v50 team going next year. Please make every effort to come along if you are interested. I have listed the champs races for 2018 below for information. You must confirm to me that you are coming so I can give Ian Stephenson at the pub an idea of numbers for food:
Ian might make some suggestions e.g. Curry or sandwiches/chips etc.
Here’s hoping for a good turn out.
